LADY
VOLUNTEER NOTES: Spent some time with Lady today. WHAT a nice CALM dog she is!!
She would be, what I consider, a "Couch Potato". She is potty trained and very respectful on the leash. She is kenneled with another larger dog and all is swell. She didnt jump or go crazy when the kennel door was opened, she calmly walked out and was very easy to handle. After she took care of business, all she wanted to do was sit next to me and have me scratch her neck, a little to the right please :) She sat there and looked up at me with those big soulful eyes. I would have taken her home right there if I didnt already have 5 yappy mutts at home. I can see Lady laying next to someone, watching TV and not exerting too much energy. Going for nice calm walks, playing ball and most of all being loved. She is truly going to make someone a wonderful companion.
Lady was adopted several months ago, and although she was very loved it did not work out. She has a high toy drive, and should be around large dogs or animals. She does wonderful with large dogs and is currently going to Grateful Dog for play dates and doing wonderfully. She truly ADORES children and everyone she meets. She needs networking to find her perfect home!
Any questions should be directed to Lori Rhoades ([email protected]) & Sam Burgin ([email protected]).

DEUCE 423194
DEUCE 423194 (Adoption or Rescue) IS AVAILABLE AT FRONT STREET, CITY SHELTER
Deuce's Videos: http://youtu.be/a8OSY47Ydnshttp://youtu.be/ViuYuQLYD_w
Deuce did not adjust well to shelter life when he arrived. He had previously belonged to a homeless person, and has already been through so much. He is a special boy and many staff and volunteers noticed and started brainstorming on how to help him. After much consideration (and generous donations!) Deuce headed off to training camp! He has since returned and is doing WONDERFULLY at the shelter and is excited when new people walk up to his cage. Shelter staff would love to see this boy leave the shelter ASAP so that he does not become stressed again. He knows basic commands and is a wonderfully polite boy.
Any questions should be directed to Lori Rhoades ([email protected]) & Sam Burgin ([email protected]).

THESE TWO DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE AT A LIFE TOGETHER!!! THEY ARE UP FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE
Video: http://youtu.be/NVy8-_ugGEM Prieta is an approximately 4 year old female (likely spayed) Border Collie mix, and Diblasqui is a 7 year old neutered male Basset Hound. Prieta and Diblasqui were surrendered by their owner because he could no longer keep them. He had them their whole lives, and they were kept outside only. Their owner also said that they are playful and friendly around kids. They are both very sweet and calm, and Prieta LOVES belly rubs! She is a girl who is constantly smiling and is always happy. Diblasqui is a sweet older gentleman that enjoys the little things in life and seems to be in good health. Prieta and Diblasqui adore each other and are very bonded, and the shelter needs help to find the perfect home where they can stay together.
